Aisha Siddika School
Since the last update in 2020, we have seen a global pandemic which have forced school closures and seen many schools turn to remote education.
We are now returning to some sort of normality and our school is fully open now and functioning and welcoming back all students.
During the pandemic the school has improved tremondously with the addition of a new building for the older students (Year 9+) along with renovations to the main building.
The school also started started teaching Commerece curriculum for Year 11 & 12 in 2020 with only 1 student in the 11th standard.
In 2021, we now have 16 students in year 11 studying Commerce with the 1 student from previous year moving to Year 12.
In India, Commerece Education is one of the most popular forms of further study for students as it opens many doors for them for the future.
The school also continues with the Science curriculum it began with and many students have graduated and gone into further studies after studying Science at the school.

Project Completion: New Building

With the grace of the Lord, the building work completed successfully in early 2021.
The new building now hosts the Year 9, 10, 11 & 12.

New Building and Playground

Introduction of HSC and with student numbers growing above 550, the school was in dire need of more
classrooms and playground space.
As a result, efforts began to explore the possibility of expansion the school area and soon enough,
neighbouring land was bought for this purpose.
Alhamdulilah, work is well underway and Insh'Allah soon we will have another building and far much more
playground space the children can enjoy their breaks in.

Science Lab

With the introduction of HSC Science in 2018, the school needed to make changes to allow the studies of
science to be taken place at the school.
For this reason, two special classrooms were created. These two new classrooms would house the Biology,
Chemistry and Physics students and allow them to
undertake the practical work for their subjects.

February 2020 English Speaking Competition
In February 2020, the school held a English Speaking Competition with winners given prices. Rashid Patel of Canada was our guest of honour.

Success of one of our own students
(2018) The school has been a huge success and now we are seeing the fruits of this success. A girl
from the village, studying in the school got really high marks resulting in her appearing in an
newspaper article.
One of the top schools in Navsari District
(2018) The performance of the school at SSC 10th Standard Board Exam where every student passed
resulted in Jogwad being one of the top schools in the Navsari District.
11th & 12th Standard
A new science lab was created with lab equipments for HSC students. This lab will give
students an opportunity to take part in practical experiments and this is invaluable to them as
they will get the opportunity to practically do what they have read in the books.
Computers
All our readers will agree that being able to use a computer is one of the most
important skills needed to be successful in this world. Currently, there are two rooms for ICT
with a total of 30 Computers, compared to 550+
students.
Clearly, this is not enough and more computers are needed. Insh'allah, with everyone's duas,
efforts and help we will soon plan to get more computers for our students.
